Creaton concentrates on core business and invests in range for pitched roof accessories
At the same time, the plan is to strengthen the traditional core expertise in fibre cement for roofs and façades and coordinate the sale of fibre cement products in Eternit GmbH.
On account of the pending strategic and sales changes, Creaton has decided not to exhibit at BAU next year.
El-Tec GmbH develops and produces original Creaton system accessories
Together with Winterhalder Selbstklebetechnik GmbH, a renowned manufacturer of industrial adhesive and sealing solutions, Creaton has established El-Tec GmbH headquartered in Wassenberg in North Rhine-Westphalia. In future, the joint venture, in which Creaton holds the majority stake, will develop and produce accessories coordinated with the Creaton range. The focus is on butyl sections, wall and chimney flashing tape as well as ridge rolls. The first product in the cooperation is the new universal aluminium connecting tape, which was premièred at the Dach+Holz trade fair in Cologne.
With the establishment of the joint venture, Creaton is planning to substantially increase the sale of accessories. Managing Director of the new El-Tec GmbH is Michael Hogg. He comes from the owner family of Winterhalder Selbstklebetechnik GmbH, which was founded in 1923, employs around 150 people and generated total sales of around € 35 mill. in 2017.
