New app making builders’ work easier

Expert know-how for the construction site: with its new installation app, the Unipor Group provides practical tips for building brick houses, according to a news release from Unipor. Diagrams, photos and 3D animations provide building professionals with answers to the most important questions on the use of Unipor clay masonry blocks and system products. Even with a weak internet connection, users can depend on the app as it even works offline without any limitations. It is designed for all Apple and android devices and is available as of immediately as a free download at the respective app stores.

The installation app covers the entire Unipor product range, providing detailed descriptions for cutting, drilling or slitting traditional masonry blocks as well as those filled with insulating materials. The installation of U-cups for the erection of apartment partition walls is explained clearly. In addition, building professionals receive detailed descriptions of the installation processes with mortar sleds or the innovative Maxit dry mortar pads.

The design of the app is oriented to the typical workflow for the construction of solid brick masonry. In this way, users can intuitively find what they are looking for. “Moreover, it was important to us that the application also works offline. Once downloaded, it offers a full array of functions,” explains Thomas Fehlhaber, Managing Director of the Unipor Group. “Building shell professionals have access to all information for proper wall construction at all times. This avoids installation errors.”
