The Casing kiln: a milestone in the history of industrial heat transfer technology

In the history of industrial heat transfer technology, there was a time before and a time after the Casing kiln. This kiln has often been imitated, but only rarely matched. This kiln embodies a concentration of technology, reflecting the know-how and inventiveness of several generations of engineers and is an example of ongoing optimization founded in the close cooperation between Ceric, and today Ceric Technologies and its customers. History and advantages

Already on its launch in 1972, the Casing kiln offered a number of advantages contributing to its success. These include its

› reproducible setting (pressurized/depressurized firing)

Many years have gone by since the first kiln was delivered to Apt brickworks in France’s Vaucluse Department in 1972. Technological advances have contributed to making the Casing kiln an ever vital high-tech item of equipment for the industry even 40 years after its invention.
