Woolit outrage – what lessons can be learned?

In recent months, triggered by a report on the German TV channel ARD, there has been uncertainty in some backing brick plants on account of the use of Woolit as a poreformer in the years from 2004 to 2011. In this talk, the factors that led to this situation and the response of the companies affected as well as that of the Association will be briefly outlined.

To summarize, this case can serve as an example of how, even with the greatest caution and the best will in the world, it is possible to get into a situation that presents the affected companies with an immense task within just a few hours.
