swissbrick.ch – The Association of the Swiss Clay Brick and Tile Industry

Swissbrick AG and the Verband Schweizerische Ziegelindustrie (VSZ – Association of the Swiss Clay Brick and Tile Industry) have merged and since 1 August 2013 have represented the association services of the clay brick and tile industry under the new brand “swissbrick.ch”.

The shareholders of Swissbrick AG – Keller Holding AG, AG Ziegelwerke Horw-Gettnau, Ziegelei Rapperswil-Bern Louis Gasser AG and ZZ Wancor AG – are transferring their activities, especially the technical know-how and the marketing expertise to the Association and liquidating Swissbrick AG. Philippe Capeder, long-serving Managing Director at Swissbrick AG in Winterthur, has gone over to swissbrick.ch. By joining forces, the Association will be able to cover an even wider range of activities even more efficiently.

The VSZ is repositioning itself under the brand “swissbrick.ch” and is taking over the established services of Swissbrick AG. The homepage of the Association www.domoterra.ch will be integrated in the current homepage of www.swissbrick.ch. As a result, the industry-specific information will be more extensive and more detailed and will in future include clay roofing tiles. The office at the site of the Testing and Research Institute p+f in Sursee and the Association headquarters in Bern, under the presidency of Peter Burkhalter, will remain unchanged.

With this repositioning of the Swiss Clay Brick and Tile Association, the name “Swissbrick” stands equally for Swiss clay bricks and roofing tiles.
