Dr Lutz Krakow bestowed the title of “European Geologist”

On 18 July 2010, Dr Lutz Krakow was awarded the title of “European Geologist”. Besides an academic education, relevant professional experience is a key qualification for this title. The title was awarded on recommendation of the national vetting committee of the European Federation of Geologists in Brussels. It has become a hallmark for qualified geoscientists guided by professional and ethical standards, who practise geology in a professional capacity on international level.
