Keramischer Ofenbau Germany:

Innovative and trendsetting kilns

With a number of technical developments in recent years, Keramischer Ofenbau GmbH has succeeded on a high level in meeting the ever increasing demands of the international market. The company ensures technically advanced and high-quality solutions and concepts, while focusing on the customers’ specific requirements.

In the fields of heavy clay ceramics, Keramischer Ofenbau has stepped up its activities significantly. Different projects with state-of-the-art kiln technology for the production of roofing tiles and clay pipes are either being developed or processed. The successfully installed tunnel kiln for large-sized roofing tiles and accessory tiles convinces in particular with the high surface finish and colour quality of the roofing tiles produced.

Keramischer Ofenbau’s competence in the fields of energy efficiency is confirmed by a research project, promoted by the German Federal Ministry of Research and Technology, which has meanwhile been completed successfully. The ORC plant developed in the frame of this project uses industrial residual heat to produce electric energy. Worldwide, it is the first ORC plant in operation with a tunnel kiln for sanitaryware.

The top modern, energy-saving and trendsetting kiln technology by Keramischer Ofenbau is consistently used for all kiln types and for all product areas.
