Tegulas presents latest-generation pressing tools for roof tiles

Established in 1998, this Swiss company attracted numerous prospective buyers to its stand to see the new K- 187 family of pressing tools. Thanks to Tegulas‘ self-engineered, very hard, scratch-proof mould material, up to 70% less plaster is needed. While a plaster thickness of 18 mm was the rule in the past, 5–9 mm will now suffice. That not only saves plaster, it also ­reduces outlays for plaster disposal.

The porous mould material abstracts the water from the ceramic body and shortens the setting and waiting times. Water extraction is tool-integrated. Mould cleaning also proves advantageous....
