Equipceramic S.A. lands first order from the Amouri Group

Since the start of its activities in Algeria in 2010, Equipceramic had repeatedly tried to become a supplier to the Amouri Group, but without success. The Amouri Group based in Biskra is one of the most important brick manufacturers in Algeria and in Africa, and it already had a consolidated supplier network.

Once again, the Barna dryer proved to be the key. Equipceramic succeeded in convincing Amouri Laroussi, CEO of the Group, to send a team of technicians to Tunis. The team was able to see a Barna dryer in operation at a plant there. The technicians confirmed the exceptional capabilities of this dryer developed by Equipceramic, which is able to easily ensure a high production capacity thanks to an astonishingly simple operating principle and without any maintenance requirement.

The Group’s negotiations for the construction of two new brick plants: Biskrya brickworks in Biskra and Amlasaa brickworks in Batna, had already reached an advanced stage at that time. The initial project consisted of the installation, one for each plant, of a double production line to reach a production capacity of 1200 t hollow blocks per day.

The solution proposed by Equipceramic allows the same production capacity to be reached, but with the installation of just one single line for each plant, equipped with a Barna dryer, resulting in significant space and energy savings for the customer.

Equipceramic is convinced that this first order will be a complete success and will be followed by many more projects in collaboration with the Amouri Group.
