Makeram Brick Plant produces for Tatarstan’s construction market
A good example of modern and cost-efficient brick production is the Makeram plant started up by the company JSC “Stroiservice” in Mamadysh, Republic of Tatarstan. The project has been supported by the local government. Talleres Felipe Verdés S.A., the manufacturer of machines for the preparation and shaping of clay for ceramic plants since 1908, supplied the complete preparation and shaping line for this new model plant.
1 Introduction
The essence of the brickmaking process has not changed over time. However, modern brick plants are becoming more and more efficient, with larger capacities and with significantly improved product quality.
The state-of-the-art automated line at the Makeram plant is equipped with the latest process technology. This enables the plant to produce a wide spectrum of brick products, both for housing and commercial construction. The plant will produce 60 million bricks per year.
