Röben Polska Sp z o.o. i Wspólnicy Sp. K. orders two Nova III roof tile presses with eccentric cam from Händle
Within the scope of wet- and dry-side modernization at Sroda Slaska Plant II, that pair of far more effective four-field Nova III presses by Händle are set to replace the plant‘s three existing three-field presses. Röben produces up to 36 million large-format roof tiles per year at that location. The new Nova III presses are ideally suited for producing such thin roof tiles of complex geometry.
Decreasing the number of installed machines will greatly reduce the maintenance effort and attendant costs. It will also make it much easier to simplify the supply of materials to the roof tile presses.
The technical data of Nova III roof tile presses were already presented in Zi‘s 02/2018 issue. The total scope of supply covered by Röben‘s order for Nova III roof tile presses also includes
a supplementary pair of Händle de-airing extrusion units, each consisting of a type-MDVG 920f de-airing double-shaft mixer and a type-ED 35c/35v double-shaft extruder
primary cutters with clay bat feed and
all the requisite drying supports, product conveying equipment and associated electric controls
In case of need, Händle‘s Polish subsidiary Händle Service Sp.z.o.o. in Toru´n can provide a comprehensive array of on-stock spare parts and competent assistance by skilled service technicians directly on the Polish market. Händle customers in Poland greatly appreciate the accordingly short paths and fast, optimal local service.
“We were sure from the very start“, says Thomas Wagner, Manager Business Unit Machinery and Equipment, “that our Nova IIIs would immediately be a big hit on the market and set new standards for the production of large-format roof tiles and tiles of complex geometry. Thanks to their innovative engineering, we have a quickly convincing set of arguments and will sure be able to satisfy all our customers‘ future needs.“
Both Nova III 2.400 presses are scheduled for delivery next January, and their commissioning is set for March 2019.
