New roof tile press Nova III – engineered for the future
Developed on the basis of its predecessor model Nova II, the Nova III aims to satisfy the demand for thinner-walled roof tiles of complex geometry. The new machine takes into account the shifting future requirements of the market and incorporates the accumulated experience and analytical data from prior production practice.
With the market calling for roof tiles featuring a higher interlocking joint and that are easier and faster to install, new roof tiles are inevitably becoming larger and more complex in shape. With a Nova III, it has now become possible to press thinner bodies with a lower shaping moisture content. Stiffer pressing, in turn, facilitates the drying of wares with less energy consumption.
Nova III can handle 40 % higher shear force than existing types of construction! High availability thanks to simplified operation, less maintenance required and an optimized mould changing process, even for large moulds, round out the system.
This roof tile press with eccentric cam is available with a choice of two different drum widths (2000 and 2400 mm) providing ample drum surface area for up to four large-format tiles (8 per square metre). For these machines, too, Händle provides outstanding worldwide service and unique customer support.
