Fascinating contour bricks by Hagemeister seen at Architect@Work in Zurich

Innovative products to suit the event‘s key theme Clay and Architecture were the centre of attention at the Architect@Work fair in Zurich. As a venue for that theme, Zurich made an ideal setting for Hagemeister‘s novel Profilklinker, i.e., contour bricks. The “Weimar“ model with its soft-mud effect, its original character, ridges, bulges and tool marks remindful of traditional brick structures, was the product that architects found most fascinating as they rambled around from one communication corner to the next. Hagemeister‘s creatively structured surfaces with wood, latticework and foliage designs surprised the fairgoers and gave them inspiration for further experimentation on their own
