Shaping the future in the spirit of its tradition with new staff
The generation change on management level having been successfully completed by Stephan Schmidt succeeding Günther Schmidt as Managing Partner of Stephan Schmidt Group, the company keeps proceeding on its positive and continuous path in the transfer of responsibility in key positions.
Back in February 2016, Prof. Dr. Ralf Diedel was appointed head of the R&D department, and the collaboration with professional associations, institutes and universities was further deepened subsequently.
Over a period of more than one year the responsibility for Sales/Marketing/Application Technology is currently being transferred from Berthold Lorig to Bernhard Thömmes, thus securing the preservation of important practical experience.
At the company‘s headquarters in Dornburg-Langendernbach new offices and training and conference facilities for creative professional exchange were built. This opens new possibilities to “live” customer proximity and implement additional training opportunities. Moreover, major modernization work was done in the laboratories to further optimize workflow in the three different departments (Quality Control, Application Technology, Research and Development).
